Delivery Fees

Each area listed below has a low flat rate, regardless of the value or weight of your order.

For those who are new to Taste Ireland the delivery charges are calculated as follows: On the 'check out' page you will be asked to select a shipping location, for example Sydney Metro, Country ACT, New Zealand etc. Once you have selected a shipping location your delivery charge will automatically be added to the total cost.

Please note all delivery charges below are ex GST.  Please note there are more Australian Country areas detailed on the shipping menu field located at the check out page for you to chose from.

More useful delivery info....

1) Shipping times are guidelines only from our couriers and depend on where you are located. Sydney, Melbourne Metro, Canberra, Adelaide and Brisbane Metro areas are  normally within 48hrs of confirmation of order. (This will also depend on the current stock levels & busy periods such as Christmas, Paddy's Day, Easter etc. will have different or longer dispatch times.. please call with any questions re dispatch for busy times) Some country areas, Western Australia, South Australia, NT, Tasmania can take 2-9 business days. New Zealand can take 5-10 business days. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

2) The contracted courier companies we use deliver Monday to Friday business hours and delivery times will vary according to their schedule, therefore we can not guarantee that specific delivery times can be met.

3) We realise that most deliveries will be to residential addresses and that you won't always be home to receive the goods, therefore you can either get them delivered to a work address or you can detail any special delivery requirements, eg leave at side door, leave in porch, garage, leave in shade etc. If possible consider having the order shipped to a friend or neighbour so it will not be left out in the heat of the day.We cannot take responsibility for a parcel that was spoiled as a result of nobody present to receive the parcel when it arrives at the shipping address. Please be very careful when ordering chocolate & meat products. We cannot be held responsible for any items spoiled if they are not delivered to a place of work or if you are not home to receive them.

4) Please ensure that you have a correct and valid shipping address. We are not responsible if the shipping address provided is not correct. We cannot refund any portion of the cost if perishable goods spoil or if the parcel is lost as a result of an incorrect shipping address. We use a courier service therefore we cannot deliver to PO boxes. If this is a problem please let us know and we will make special arrangements for delivery of your parcel. Any parcels sent with Australia Post will be sent by unregistered post.

5) We cannot be held not responsible for a parcel that is delayed as a result of a courier delay in the delivery of your parcel. This includes perishable items that may spoil as a result of late delivery.  

6) We cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by items lost or damaged by our contracted courier company however we will replace the items as soon as possible.  

7) Orders containing perishable foods will be shipped according to our delivery schedules. Orders will be shipped Monday through Thursday (except Sydney orders which are shipped Monday through Friday) so they are not left in a hot warehouse over the weekend.

8) If in doubt please contact us and we would be more than happy to discuss shipping your order before it is dispatched. 

9) All phone orders have a $3 admin charge. 


Disclaimer

We take ample care when packaging perishable goods and ensure they will be delivered on time.  It is your responsibility to ensure you are present to receive the goods or if it is a gift, that the recipient is present to receive the goods. If there is nobody to accept the parcel there is nothing we can do about the perishable products that may spoil as a result. Please be mindful when ordering during the hotter months, as the heat can alter the freshness of the goods. This also applies when ordering chocolate products. It is a good idea to include a gel ice pack with your chocolate order to keep it cool during transit.

Any out of stock items in gift hampers can be replaced with products of equal or greater value without prior notice.  

All parcels will be left at your door unless otherwise instructed by you. Taste Ireland cannot be held responsible for goods lost or stolen once the courier has delivered your parcel. When ordering we encourage you to use the "delivery instructions" field to detail your specific instructions to ensure your parcel is safely delivered.

It is important to remember that we are importing the products from Ireland and our stock levels can be subject to delays due to our suppliers, shipping delays or customs delays. 

New Zealand customers - please note that when you order from this website, Taste Ireland is not responsible for New Zealand Customs officials confiscating any goods.  Please refer to the following NZ import guidelines for further details.
